i dont want to sound like a dick but your wrong, a critical mass does weight 18 pounds, a jl audio w7 45. however if you want to achieve spl (sound pressure level) and sq (sound quality) that the w7 provides, you would have to run 4000 watts to the critical mass. the w7 is heavy but much more efficient. what i would save in sub weight i would gain in amp weight. sorry....

you can not run different tire sizes on an XI. its already been said. it will affect your drivetrain, not your ride. search. |

Nobody is here to argue with you. You ask for advice, you get it. If you can't graciously accept them, then GTFO of this forum, newbie, with your 18 posts... Me, I love to drive and nothing beats the sound of my motor above 100 mph without the fear of bottoming out and ruining my subs in the non-existent trunk.

Lol no. If you mount aftermarket wheels with a larger difference in rolling diameter, that's your fault....

why would BMW cover your error? you didn't do your homework before buying wheels. as much as i hate forgestar, its still, at the end of the day, your own fault. |

for that reason.
they KNEW you will in time have an issue, but their policy is strict on NO RETURNS. so you kind of got screwed, but you have a lot of balls risking that. if you have a problem, and put OEM wheels back on, its possible they may find out what happened. |

I thought you could order the XI stock with a staggerred set up? When I bought my 335, I was close to getting an XI with sport package. It would have come with the 189's and 225 tires up front with 255 tires in the back.
Coming from an AWD background in the past, I was surprised by that, because I always thought you had to be on a square set-up for AWD.

fair enough, i guess you win some and lose some. i've been looking at the xi forum and there are a bunch of guys running staggered on xi's. i made a bit of a typo the rear is 10'' width the front 8.5. my father is good friends with the owner of the dealership (hence why an 18 year old is driving such a car: i got a fantastic rate) so if i have a problem i dont think it should be an issue. thanks for all your help guys
the tire setup is as follows 275/30R19 REARS 245/35R19 FRONTS keeping my fingers crossed! |
