Best fix for Oxidized Tail Pipes
Does anyone know a good fix for removing the blank gunk off of the tail pipes?? The pipes still looks good under the grimy build up. I just want to restore them like new if possible. Should I sand them down??
Help is appreciated, thanks!

I use a mix of polishing pastes and 0000 steel wool to get rid of the heavy carbon deposits. The more often you clean them the easier it is.

This may sound terrible but I used 200 grit wet/dry sandpaper with WD-40 on my brushed aluminum tips. They now look brand spankin' new. I will get a picture when I get off work. Note : My tips are OEM and brushed.
