Yeah I'm excited for it, it shall transform the interior of the car and modernise it a great deal and the connectivity of the NBT is great also.

Haha yes this may be the equivalent of a dirty weekend away with your wife for your 335i Kent

How many more guys do you need to get the bigger discount kent? I reckon we can find em on one of the FB pages!

We met the 7% discount with 5 of us. For 10%, we need 6 or more orders. That extra 3% savings is 36 euto, about $55 AUD, which woulf equate to half of our shipping covered. Not a huge deal breaker. All up, it's still way over $1,000 cheaper than Bimmeretrofit lol

Ahh OK ye snot much of a saving and sometimes with larger order can actually become more costly due to shipping packaging sizes (have to split it up into two smaller more expensive shipments etc)

In terms of shipping wouldnt it be best to send them separate to avoid import duty/GST? By memory you were going to get them sent all in one?

I think I updated the info in a post a page ago and said they'll now ship individually at 65 euro each to avoid just what you're thinking.

The good news is that I have negotiated the discount which will be 10% off if EB89 jumps on board and 7% if he doesn't instead of the original 5%. Doesn't sound like much, but a 5% difference is nearly $100. The discount will also apply for the iDrive touch controller.

The bad news is that the shipping will be 65 euro, which is about $100. The head units will be shipped out individually instead of all at once. This is more expensive than shipping them together, but the seller has advised against shipping 2-3 units in one unit as to not raise the suspicions of Australian Customs and thus avoiding paying any import duty and taxes. He will also write a low value down so even if we pay GST, it won't be much.

So the revised prices are as follows:

eNBT retrofit kit 1,200 euro
-7% = 1,116 euro = $1,725.83
-10% = 1,080 euro = $1,670.16

touch iDrive controller ECU = 80 euro
-7% = 74.40 euro = $115.06
-10% = 72 euro = $111.35

Shipping 65 euro
= $100.52 AU

Total price of kit landed to your door with iDrive touch controller ECU
with 7% off = $1,941.41
with 10% off = $1,822.03
here, Shane

Ahh OK cool.

I've shipped E9X M3 BMW PE that RRP was something like $4k AUD with devalued invoices below $1500 AUD with no worries

Especially with these goods being second hand there would be no issues with bundling 3 units IMO

still could cop GST and still pay import duty. A single unit won't draw attention, but 2 or 3 may. Plus there's no longer a $1,000 GST thresh hold! Do you want me to ask him to stick mine, yours and Elliots into one? would save us a little.

I'm happy to pay $65 to have it shipped direct. Cheaper then the postage on most of the stuff I buy in from the US

Reading through the parts list, because I'm already CIC and I have front and rear cameras.

I should just need

- $1764 Retrofit Kit
- $124 iDrive Touch Controller
- $50 postage

- $1938 AUD right?

What's the go with installation? Is everyone DIYing themselves?
Does that include the module needed for your front/rear camera mate?

I don't think they can mate, I'm pretty sure a module or something is required?

Best to double check that.

Nop. No module required. Just a relay switch that needs to wired in. Camera switches on when you hit reverse and front activates up to 10kmph after disengaging from reverse.

AFAIK E series didn't have OEM front and rear park cameras? OEM BMW cameras will work, but they need to be from an E70/E71. Just buy the ones I listed in a previous post.

I've got cameras already that use the circular yellow plug, what ever that's called, NTSC or something

Problem with that is that i use my camera going <3kmph.. only when parking really. Or do you mean it switches off at that point?
