well if a rep at the 1800 number doesnt say ur still at port then ur deff on a ship, and ur ca should know..just ask again and be like bmwna said that i should call you regarding info on what ship im on and ect..

Well after calling the 1800 automated numbers a few times, my car is still at the port (completion date: 7/09)... So decided to talk to a live person and they said it shouldve been shipped already and to call my salesman for more information

After getting off the phone with my salesman right now, he informed me that my car departed friday July 13th and will arrival ~ August 6th at Port of Oxnard. Woo hoo! :rocks:

You are a lucky man! My car was completed on 7/4 and arrived at the port at 7/12 and is still waiting to be placed on a shipping vessel. I suppose my chances of getting the car mid August are slim to none. Is anyone else waiting this long?

yup, my car is status 160 (produced, not yet shipped). Im just hoping there are no screw ups of any sort that caused the delay.

Does the 800 number tell you guys that your car is on the ship? My says it's being transported to the docks or something like that. 7/13-7/14 it finished production.

Your car might be on a ship now, i suggest u stop calling the 1800 number and now call ur CA for further info..

I think we are basically on the same schedule. Looking at the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website there are 3 ships leaving this week (on the 17th, 18th and 19th). As far as the rep from the 800 # said, my car still didn't even reach Bremerhaven but is only on its way there, with that said I definetly won't be on the ship leaving 17th or 18th. That leaves us with the 19th, which is a tight squeeze and judging by the wait that everyone has been waiting, I think we are going to miss it as well

This leaves us with the ships leaving on the 23rd, 27th, 28th, and 30th. IMO I think we are going to catch the ship leaving on the 27th, which should bring us to the VPC @ NJ on August 9th, a week later and we should have our cars. I'm looking at the weekend of the 18th/19th.

What do you think? Fair estimate?

Well lets c my car has been ahead of schedule..it was supposed to be done with production tomarrow and actually its already on the truck to the exit port...so far with how everything has been going its a possibility it might leave on the 19th....ive read many instances of luck here and having everything done early, with some reports of things being down REALLY LATE ..lol so i have lots of faith...and i just want this car by the first or second week of aug

the next departures are the 17'18'19'and 23...hopefully yours will be shipped on the 18th...depending on how many cars are befor you.... and it takes 12-13 days just to arrive in NY so expect like another week added to reach you

there was one on the 12th (kiwi auckland) and 13th (tarifa) for port huemene (oxnard, CA. for west coast). using http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L=0 per tracking guide stickied here, you find Carmen or Lyra Leader leaving on the 20th (yes. two ships on the same day. one is by W&W and other NYK Lines) or Centaurus Leader for 24th departure.

it's always nice to read stickies. they are there for good reasons.

Here's a question... since I'm on the west coast I assume my car will be put on a ship for Huemene. Do all vehicles get unloaded there? Or does the ship continue on to other west coast ports? I'm in Washington state, if that matters.

Hmm i used the W&W site, i tried looking for westcoast schedules but nothing came up, i guess they use a diff line of vessels,, sorry for the wrong info COLDINTAKE

apparently, both W&W AND NYK Lines have ships heading to port hueneme. so it could be on either one.

oh FYI, you can find out which ship you are on with your VIN number if the car's on a W&W ship. but NYK Lines won't let you trace your vehicle via vin. you need bill of lading number (which your CA has access to once the car's on a ship. but then again, CA can also tell you which ship you are on. so no real need for BoL number)

If your car got to the port today, i'd say, realistically, you are looking to be on CENTAURUS LEADER departing on the 24th. but you never know. if you are lucky, your car might get on one of the two ships leaving on the 20th. good luck!

I called my CA today and he said it is on the way to the final processing center. However, he couldn't say what vessel it was on. Woohoo! It's in the ocean... somewhere. Hope some of you guys are with me!
