He's 92 miles away from me .
How long do you have to drive to get to his house? Is Sherwin going there too?

Ya I think he's like right across the street from me.
I'm going to do some solo runs with my new victor-racer rear tires tonight. Let me know if you get to ride in Terry's car with the new DP's!

Haha ok I know it "lightens" the car but mass doesn't change.

Are you running Kumho Victoracers as drag tires? I got a set of 4 but I believe they are stiff walled road racing tires.

Yep they are (V710's), but they're stickier than the road tires I have for these wheels. They're also a little smaller in diameter, (245/35/18), effectively giving me a slightly shorter gear ratio. Launches are going to be an issue so I'm going out tonight more for launch testing than anything else. I'm hoping the shorter gear ratio will also give me a slightly better acceleration. BUt who knows... testing is fun

I heard the ECTSTAs come to temp a lot quicker - so the autox'ers really like em. Might work for dragging, but I don't know much about that. |

i think the better question is what's the difference between your car and Johnmartins?

In the process I broke his diverter valve nipple and had to scavenge one off my car. Now I need to find one tomorrow or I won't be able to race. Sigh! |

I'm running a funky setup right now... 235/40/18 Falken Azenis RT-615's up front and 245/35/18 Kumho Ecsta V710's on the back. Fronts are taller than the rears so maybe it'll help with the launch? I got the set of four V710's slightly used for $250 shipped I was going to put them on all 4 corners but decided not to do it because of possible rain Friday and Saturday... and also decided not to run the autocross and race course Saturday. These wheels/tires are dual purposed I used to have the SSTT. Great tune, and easy on/off. It was just very inconsistent for me...sometimes pulling hard, sometimes feeling no better than stock. So I got the JBS2 and I liked it, so I sold the SSTT. Excellent, easy to do tune.

I have JB2 in my car and eveything else is bone stock. I would like to race someone with the V2.02 PROcede i think the results might be suprising. I have a coupe with auto. Anyone up for it in the LA area let me know. This would be again a customer vs customer race. Preferably someone with a coupe and V2.02 with auto.

I think Adam was able to borrow 2.02, he went off to run JonM tonight. I was going to run with them but had to borrow a part from my car to repair Jon's. Hopefully Jon faired better vs. Adam (cars have basically the same mods), but his rims are damn heavy. Heavier than stock I think.
