haha you have a backup set. did you notice if its any brigher then then your 8500k's? Everyone has 8500k's and complains that its not bright/not visible during the day. But my 7500 are very bright and i can definitely see it during the day.

oh! definitely! i installed the 8500 first on the left side (the side that blew out) and noticed the color was off, then i put in a 7500k and then i was like "hm...kinda looks better" so then i took out the rite side (8500) and swapped it for 7500 in there. i do think its a lot brighter.

i'll keep my set of 8500K as my backup wen the 7500 goes out tho

derek was koo. nice meeting him

I really can't wait for a LUX solution to come out for e92's. I know that e90 and 92 angels are very different but LUX for e90's are extremely nice. I hope that the e92 set will be that promising, or somewhere around there.

Hate to say it, but dont get your hopes up. LED's just dont have the output of an H8 bulb. Just check how many lumens LED's put out versus how many lumens H8's put out and you'll know what i mean.

Yeah I've read about it and am aware of why it can't work. Although the maker of LUX, ms428 or something (I forgot his user name sorry!) is waiting for some new LED technology to come out within the next 6 months or so, which should be promising.

ahahaha, i want a new steering wheel too. Have you seen the m3 dct wheel + dct paddles. Man its so nice, but its so dam expensive. Its like what 500 for the wheel and 600 for just paddles. For that money i rather get the performance bmw steering wheel. Alcantara+Shift lights+lap times+G's+0-60+all this other crap i forgot, FTW!

i gotta stop spending money though and really save up for coils. I ended up buying the lens i told you about so there goes another 600!

LOL. yea everytime i see somethin i want, i start weighin wat else i could get for the money. i wanted the anthracite headliner, then said its like buyin a csl trunk. the i wanted the m3 wheel w/ paddles, but thats like csl trunk, lookin at m3 mirrors, but thats like csl trunk. now Kev in the forum is sellin his double-sided trunk for 1400!!! and its already AW, so if its still up for sale at the end of hte month i think i'll drop the m3 mirrors idea and go w/ the csl trunk (only if its still for sale, if not, bak to m3 mirrors from long)

How much do these bulbs cost and how long do they last. I had PIAA's before, last like 2 years tops.

Mine has been on for over a year and its still going strong :knockonwood:. Although if they do blow out, its ok since they are like $20 a set.
