cause canbec screwed up and has to recode my entire car to turn it on accoridng to them , which well, i cant do.

Chris,
I was on a flight heading home this evening and just finished up Octobers Bimmer magazine. I was going to tuck in the seat pocket when I saw a nice M3 on the back cover - Bavauto add. Hmmm. It looked familiar and sure enough ... It was was your car. They even called you out by name. Something you worked out with them?

Did they photoshop some spinners on it like DAI wheels did for Anthony's car?

ahhh... i have been wondering when they would use the pic for the ad. did you happen to keep a copy ? i havent even been able to see the ad myself.

they gave me $100 store credit for submitting that picture to them and giving them permission to use it. it was a picture i already had so it didnt take me much trouble except for a few clicks of a mouse. this submission was done last year. i guess it took them a year to finally get it out in print.

I'll hang on to the issue and give it to you the next time we meet up if you like. Or you should be able to find a current "Bimmer" mag and have a fresh copy. It's on the back cover of this months issue.

where/how do you get this bimmer magazine anyway? i know the members of BMW CCA down in the states usually get it as part of their membership but as far as i know you cant get it in a bookstore or newstand here in canada.

I usually pick up the mags in the airport over the course of a month. Any speciality magazine shop will have Bimmer or Excellence (Porche mag).
