Ever since I sold my 2011 6MT M Sport xDrive, I haven't been following the market. So if you have 2 factory M Sport cars that are exactly the same in every aspect, what do you think the price difference would be between 6MT and 6AT? Is it a night and day difference?

Curious, because I'm going to try and search out a 6AT car very soon more than likely.

I would say 5k or so, maybe more if the cars were identical. I will be putting my auto M-sport up for sale in a few weeks once I detail it. I bought a 2007 rwd off ebay and don't really need the x-drive.

Auction didn't go anywhere.

If anyone is interested let me know.

What do you guys think it's worth?

Has a lot of miles of course. Maybe my perception is skewed after paying 11k for it with 130k+ miles 3 years ago.

I think BAT is a great place to learn what it is worth to the enthusiasts. However, you’ll probably have to go no reserve for them to agree to list it.

Bmwcca.org is another avenue for you.

VIN shows automatic

It must have been a conversion - the VIN shows an automatic transmission. No cold weather package unfortunately, which is a deal breaker for me.

Bimmer.work is usually wrong. It says mine is a manual, but sadly, it's not. Funny thing is if you look at the interior picture, it clearly shows the automatic gear selector.

I trust mdecoder.com https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/fv95158

I just checked bimmer.work. Shows your car with an auto. Not trying to cause any drama here. I checked because I have seen “manual” on the first page followed by automatic listed under the options section. However, FV95158 shows auto on the first page.

What's in the cold weather package? Mine did not have it, but has heated seats and mirrors.

The cold weather package has high speed headlight washers, heated seats front and rear, and a heated steeling wheel. Once you have the heated wheel, you'll never be able to go back to unheated. Here's a good You Tube:
This car is clearly a manual, and a great color. If you look at the shot of the radio, the the switches for the heated seats would normally be under the climate control unit.

For E90, the cold weather package "includes headlight washers, heated front seats and split/folding rear seats with a ski bag". Since my car came with headlight washers and heated front seats, it looks like all I didn't get is the ski bag.

I always find it strange the way the dealers will order features instead of packages, when the packages include most of the features...

As for heated steering wheel: I retrofitted that to my car, was about a 2 hour retrofit. And I agree, I don't think I can ever go back!

Here is a 2011 e91 on eBay located in Philly. Despite what the ad says, it is an auto. Relatively low-spec x-drive wagon with no idrive. Looks like cold weather is the only package it has. Mileage about 112k for $10k. Grey with oyster. Looks good!

FV95158 is the car listed for sale. Not my car.

My old blue wagon is for sale again, Carfax shows that it got repo'd.

https://www.atlasmotorsnc.com/2011-B...3/Details.aspx

I wonder how rough a shape it's in now, I was owner 3 and gave it some love with new control arms, brakes all around and transmission fluid at ~100k miles. Now it's got 144...

Had some fun adventures with that car and I always thought that blue was good looking too.
