my guess is water ran down the antenna wire and your amp is fuqed. But i've been wrong before.

the 4x$ should go away if you move th sterring wheel from the left to right fully. This shows up if the voltage goes low. Like if you flash without a batt charger it often shows up. 1st time I flashed I shat a brick thinking I fucked my 2 day old BMW.

Guess I'll endure some bad luck. Spoke to Alvin at import autowerk suggesting I take it to the dealer. So here I am. He doesn't believe it was the fin but who knows...

That seems good. Some of them are actually sealed with windshield silicone. Those are a pain to clean up if you remove it tho

Check the amp. Did your tail lights get pulled recently before the rain?

It was pouring out when I checked but my tail lights were pulled before but I checked it and everything seemed dry. I took it to the dealer so I guess I'll hear back today.

doubt it's from the fin. water will run down the channel and fill your back seats or trunk. Everything else is sealed.

it's great how no one STILL doesn't want to troubleshoot electronics on these cars. One of the reasons why I don't want to cut or do anything electronic involved on them. good luck bro

If it's just tape and no silicone.. you can save whatever oem molding tap left and put another thin layer of doublesided tape, it will be fine.

this is mostly an issue for the people that remove the fin and try to clean everything off the fin.. then forget to properly seal it when putting new tape on.

Make sure you use windshield silicone or non-corrosive silicone.. most of the stuff you buy at home depot is acidic. will eat eat away your paint and probably cause rust. It's a PITA to remove too, I don't suggest silicone!

the newest UUC is like 8x heavier than the stock tall knob. It's a little ugly though. What's that other company.. w-something shifting machine? But they're almost 300 a piece.

Thanks..good to know. Will go get some windshield silicone cos I was weary about the bathroom ones because of the freezing temps we have here.
