If you are still getting errors after disabling both the warm and cold checks, then something else is up, or it is disregarding your coding and still checking. For LEDs you are going to want to disable both the warm and cold checks as they would fail both checks, on or off. |

So is there a permanent disable of the tpms warning yet? Last time I checked the spreadsheet there was a note like it just delayed the warning and it still came on after driving for awhile or something?

All you need to do is remove it from the VO and remove the fuse as well. |

Did you change any steps in the VO coding? I'm following the document in your previous link word for word with no errors and NONE of the SDARS options are showing up in any of my modules. The $655 option shows up after I'm finished, but that's it. Which modules does the VO need to be coded to? The document only mentions CAS, but says another must be coded as well.

I removed my foglights on 2011 E92 LCI and get foglights malfunction on the screen
I find out that set KALTUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_L (and R) to nicht_aktiv in NFRM could remove the error however, I could not find KALTUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_L in NFRM trace file. They can only be find in the over all 225k FSW_PSW trace file. I tried reading every single module for that line, no luck. here is all my modules: 2JBBF,2MULF,63BMO,ABG,BDSC,BFGB,BFS,CAS,CIC,CID,DW AI,DWAS,EGS,EKP,FAGB,FAS,FZD,IHK,KOMBI,LSMC,MAMP,N FRM,PDC,PGS,RLS,RSMC,TCUM,TGBT,TGFT,VGSG,ZBE Anyone know where I should looking for that line (KALTUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_L)? |

Just remove the VO for the foglights and process car. That will be the better approach. |

Neutrino... just requested access to the spreadsheet. Just awaiting arrival of the cable.
I just want to thank everyone in this thread for making this possible and available to everyone.

For anyone know has used SSS, can anyone lend advice?
I'm going to use SSS this weekend (finally received my power supply) and my car needs a full update to v32 (my car has late-2006 software and I believe v32 is mid-2008). I have a 07 328xi E90. It says it needs all modules (I think 12) updated. Someone who had posted previous said it might take 12 hours or more. Questions: 1. Anyone who has done this know how long it takes using the usb cable to update all modules? 2. I was maybe planning doing this overnight while I slept if it takes a long time. Any issues I should be concerned with doing that? Does SSS require you to do anything while it's updating the modules which would require you to be present at the computer at all times? 3. Any other advice, tips, hints? Thanks! |

I am sorry, I went through most of the 119 pages here, and can't seem to find a version that has later model data files (E70 X5 in my case). Can someone post a link (again) please?

EDIT: According to the original thread on ********* dot com, it seems the host took it down after uploading 3 TB in a month. It may come back, otherwise apparently v41 was just released anyway.

I don't think you can mention that site here. Better edit your post.

Why not? I've mentioned it several times. It's not advocating illegal activity like recommending a site where one can download pirated software. In fact a lot of the info available there has already been covered somewhere in this specific thread. It's just a bit more organized than these ~120 pages.

Finally...
I read every single word from all posts from page 1 to p120. Took me all day but it's worth it for a noob like me
Noticed, Cable dealers took advantage of coding forums. Can't blame them though! Now, I have a 2010 E90 328i and the default DRL is the high beam at 50-60% brightness. Means the supply output voltage from DRL is about 6-8 Vdc. This will starve LED's or other type of AE lightings designed to operate at 12V. The result is obviously dimmer light output and/or flickering. Some may not even work at all. Hopefully the coders here will find a way to bypass the voltage/current limiter for the DRL output voltage. Just think about how your air conditioning fan/blower speed gets regulated through a bank of coil resistors to starve the motor from 12Vdc till you turn the switch to max. Just my 2 cents. |

That http://eq.ath.cx/bmw/SP_2.40.0.rar link doesn't seem to work, I have found a diff site (actually linked from ebay cable listing), seems to be good, ~500MB download.
