I was looking at the M235i deals last night, there's some knocking about for less than £300 a month. Which I very tempting after seeing a few over the last few days. I'm debating whether to sell the E93 335i and lease a M235i

Sorry to disappoint you lads, it lasted (literally) 3 days. Not even that, probably 2 at a stretch. If I'm honest, I didn't believe him until his wife's car turned up and he showed me the DD mandate.

Does make you think doesn't it they seem a cracking car and all the money you have to sometimes spend keeping a 335i on the straight and narrow can be put in to one of these fun wagons, only downside is you'll never own it

New Nissan Pulsar Tekna 1.2 DIG-T - 6+23 and 10k pa. £166 all in a month.
If anyone hasn't seen the kit levels in the Tekna - it's mind boggling and it's suppose to be a great little(ish) car. |

I got a Leaf Tekna 2yr Lease
£500 deposit £120pm for 6k miles. Although this was back in March. I agree the Tekna's are very well stocked. Mine has Satnav, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth connection for calls and music, LED headlights and rear lights etc Last edited by imy; 08-20-2015 at 06:01 AM.. |

Ive never had a problem and neither has my dad or anyone else I know who has one...
I use it only in the mornings to drop kids to childminders so ive never had to worry about range. The satnav runs very little drain on the battery, aircon admittedly I do lose 6-10miles on the range. |

Only kidding..
You seem to know a lot of people with one, I've never even seen one let alone know someone who owns one! I thought they were just a green PR gimmick? |

The new Audi RS3
6+23 £484 all in 6+35 £461 all in. I've yet to check competitor prices - but I think these sound pretty reasonable for a £40k car. |

That's a lot for an A3 though.
You can lease an M5 for not much more than that and my E63 AMG for less than an M5 and they're pushing £80K cars.... EDIT - sorry, you COULD lease an E63 for circa £500/m, not now it would seem. Looks like I got a good deal after alll I've got an M5 quote in writing last month for £550/m all in on 9+36 (from a scottish BMW franchise on PCH), that'll be my choice come decision time in October if nothing better comes up. £50/m extra for the 20's and a few bits though. I think I got the dealer around 12 leases. Mine was more out of curiosity. Get rid of the X5, use the Leaf to drop the kids off to the child-minders every morning and use the 335i as a weekend vehicle. Has worked out pretty well so far! And I have a feeling that the price I got it for - it may well be a PR gimmick, get as many on the road as possible and let people experience what its all about. Either way - ive only got mine for 2yrs and it means the 335i doesn't get to do silly school runs etc! £2.50 for a full charge at 80miles, no petrol or engine components to worry a bout! |
