Are you heading out to Willowbank tonight Duck? It appears the storms are north and south of the track and nothing coming towards it at present.

At Willowbank, conditions are good with strong tail wind, no rain and not many cars but no Duck as yet.

And then I got there, signed in, lined up. and it rained just enough to call it off, then stopped raining.
Sigh.

Wednesday it is.

Car feels strong as fuck. semi slicks are absolutely useless.

Also the aircon pump died today. how annoying, I have a spare and I'll swap it out over the weekend and gas it back up. No aircon is annoying lol

Also, there were two oil downs between lining up and the rain that didn't help progress towards the line. Pity the light shower had to intervene as there was a good rollup of BMWs in the staging lanes - at least 3 E92 M3s and another 335. Try again next week Duck.

changed my aircon pump today and removed the comp cover to measure how much meat I have to machine it out for a bigger wheel. new wheel will be ordered monday but I doubt I'll see it tuesday to build new turbo wednesday so I'll be running wednesday night with the broken turbo still but at least I'll have aircon! haha

"no shit, that's unlucky, super rare to break them. it happens when dealing with 60yr old boxes but, what you wanna do?"

basically exact words.

haha. track wednesday to lay down a couple of base line passes, then the new wheel will go on and I'll get it on 101's hub dyno and get some proper timing into it and pull some of the fuel out. give it a death tune so to speak. And then head back out there and set it to kill.

The weather looks perfect for tomorrow night with a low of 12 and almost no chance of rain

Helllll yeh go duck!!!!!

What a pass, new world record, keep going and get that 9 sec pass, you can do it.

Coupes33 are you recording the run. Post it up if you can.

I reckon his got more trap speed left in him as I was at 134mph making way less power. I was estimating 137-138mph for duck, what you reckon. What was his 60 ft?

60ft was 1.601 has more in for sure second run would have beeno faster but got engine water temp warning before 1000ft and lost time in the last 320ft

Hopefully as night gets colder so does car Temps and it runs a faster number just struggling with the jb4 boost control settings atm lol
