I spoke with Performing Imports in Roswell. Ron Trochelemann's shop. He did the Dinan upgrade (and an engine swap) to my 540i. Those guys are good and serious about BMWs.

yeah I spoke with him around 12 today...told me I'd have to ship out my ecu to Dinan in CA....I want to see a dyno sheet before I go through with all this though...It's good to hear that they know what they are doing

That new programming interface is just the one used for the diagnostic port (code-reader) presumably. Will not affect piggybacks at all.
