yup, i understand if the intake is in anyway related to the issue its voided.

but the dlr pretty much told me do anything you like as long as you dont touch the ecu.

as u all said an intake is cosmetic, though if it throws a code, then its a problem.

an intake would not include a new filter, why do u need a new one...in my head then having a hf fiter could void warranty to if thats all an intake really is...

really?? i thought technocraft is selling their intake and including a brand new filter as well??

oh wells... if it does include a new filter, you can sell me your old one. basically want to keep it as a spare.

What it means, then, is if you're throwing a code on a modded car, get a BT Tool and see just what the code is. If you see it throwing codes on your exhaust while you modded your exhaust - well, you're kinda outta luck there. But if you see it throwing codes on the passenger seat being too far back while you modded your intakes - should be OK there ('cept you can find out w/o actually going to the dealer and doing the whole cold sweat thing).

The BT has been an invaluable tool for me.
