Anybody has experience in replacing the windshield wipers? Mine have aged and were jumping around and screaming when wiping...

Should I get OEM stuff from Valiant or Bosch? Grateful for a part number reference as well

I've got the same problem in that it screeches when wiping and I only had it for about 2-3mths. Think I'm going back to BMW and get them to change it.

Bad to hear that. The very one thing which I am not happy with the E90 is the stupid wipers and the automatic rain sensor. The wiping speed is far too quick even if set at the slowest. Wonder if BMWHK can adjust the speed through software

ksqaure, do you think BMWHK will treat the wipers as consumables so they would not replace it without charge? Honestly even if they are willing to replace it for free I won't have the time to take the car for service during weekdays. I understand that they don't really work on the vehicles on Saturdays...

Hi guys, glad to know that I am not the only one that has this problem.

My wiper was doing that the first time I use it, which was 2 weeks after I got my E90. BMWHK told me that it is because European cars has stronger wiper mechanism. BS! Later, they admitted the wiper blades has aged (which was only 2 weeks old).....and calibrate the wiper arms' angle.

Yes....after they change the wiper blade and re-calibrate the wiper mechanism, it works fine! Very effective and quiet

That means I should take the car back to BMWHK and ask them to fix it - together with the screeching problem of my driver's window.

D did they charge you for the replacement of the wiper blade?

No, they didn't charge me.....a pair of wiper aged in 2 weeks is kind of ridiculous, don't you think so?
