ST Build continued

SPCGRY on the back of a flatbed for the second time this year. This time on its way to yoda motorsports to make some progress on the ST install

Todays mission, test fit the turbo and DPs

First task was to install the oil and water block offs and exhaust manifold. Vince added some spacers under the engine mounts, which gave us an extra 15mm of space between the engine block

The next job was fitting up the downpipe. The downpipe we had from duck simply did not fit, so Vince fabbed up his own using some 45 SS bends and pipes we purchased for this very job

Yoda is not only a master mechanic but he's a pretty good fabricator too

took all afternoon but the DP is all tacked up and clears the manifold and steering column perfectly

Made some really good progress today, one step closer to a test run

I suppose having a custom job such as this is more satisfying than just buying a ST kit
