Valet is disabled by default. You can enable it and set the valet speed limit using the user adjustable variables.

http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...ead.php?t=1002 It looks like if you select valet of "1" then it is on and you will be in stock when the car starts. You have to press the on button on the remote to go to a performance map. |

I'm almost positive my friend has the latest canbus maps. He has NOT described it as a beast. I'm pretty sure he took it to the track while I was on vacation a little over a week ago. I'll check and see what happened.

I am hoping Shiv's statements that he has been working almost exclusivley on the N54 platform (I think it's been 8 weeks or so since he made that statement), means that new maps adjusting performance for additional input variables are coming soon, along with a tested out, easy to install meth kit. |

Damn impatient forum we have here dont we? I think y'all are spoilt brats. Shiv, BMS they all have spoilt you guys, and set expectations too high. I'd rather they take their time and produce reliable safe tunes instead of rushing the latest turbo melting beast you all crave. If something goes wrong, it'd be a different and not so pretty story on here with the minions baying for blood and the tuner's head on a tray, not new maps.

Alrighty; at the track the latest canbus is no beast. After running it down the track 3 times to allow for adaptation, he can tell no difference between it and the previous canbus version. The canbus race gas map is much faster and the 1-19 race gas map is faster still. This is according to my friend.
If yours is a beast and gets you down the track quicker and faster than previous versions, post your numbers.

I did some datalogs and compared 5-29 stage 2 maps with different TQ settings to previous maps (5-08; also stage 2). 60-130 mph - same time with both maps. Temperature almost the same. New spark plugs with 5-29.

I have the V3 PNP Rev1. No intentions of upgrading anytime soon (unless someone can justify why I should?). I don't use the datalogging tools, I merely "plug it in and drive".
I've been running the maps from several months ago. Can anyone comment on the new non-doomsday 6AT map differences? I am running a Stage I. I'm curious to see what people's reaction / feedback is before I upload the latest version. |
