But on that note how would they differentiate (sp) 335i coupe from a 335i sedan. this makes me think there might not be a 335i sedan just a 335i coupe... but thats just my guess...
Just like they differentiate 325xi sedan and 325xi touring / sports wagon.

Uhh, the now banned Tine, pointed out that this would happen a couple of weeks ago.

Probably shouldn't call BS unless you know the facts.

Have we banned the real BMW insider???

Whatever. Now I can buy my all new 335i Coupe!
that bent sheet metal along the sides, along the doors, through the doorhandles... it looks more pronounced than the sedan... runs all the way the length of the car to the rear lights...

those rear lights look really nice, and well integrated... gives the rear some stance, not like those angular circles rears of the sedan that needed those blackline kits to horizontalize the view lines.

I think they dropped the Ci on the coupe due to the fact that, it will be available with X-drive....

330XCi sounds a bit weird.... This way they can name it simply 330Xi coupe...

330Xi Sedan
330Xi Touring
330Xi Coupe
330Xi Cabrio

....

Someone see if they can zoom in and get an accurate reading on the model designation on the back of the car in the photo. Please.

I've done these image enhancing stuff, I'm no master at this stuff unfortunately... below are two pictures. The first is the one from the magazine. I have inverted the colours for clarity - at a glance it certainly does read 33'5'i, but if you look even closer, you can speculate the blur to be an 8, 0 or even a 2 ..

The 2nd picture belongs to forum member 'sdorn', hope he doesn't mind me borrowing his picture of the 325i emblem... I've mimicked the same low quality by deliberately bluring it and angling the picture, then inverted as before - simply to see what a blurred number 5 looks like

You be the judge I suppose...

like that ass huh...

I dont think they will do that, it would make both look the 'same' which is one thing they didn't want to do.

For the Coupe, now what remains is pics of how the heck the front looks... I hope they do make it look much like the e90 lights... I don't like any of the lights on the 7,5,6... the e90 headlight shape looks the least flambouyant, but functional, integrated, modern, minimalist.

This was said to be the best pic (VERY in detail: incl. headlights) of E92 front yet:

All latest Huckfeldt's CGI impressions of E92 (in German Autobild mag) shows the front (incl. headlights) EXACTLY the same as the pic above.

And Huckfeldt is very well known "service" of German manufacturers: providing CGIs based on official sketches.
Therefore Huckfeldt's impressions are so accurate.

You can be 100% asured the headlight (and the whole front as well)will look like that.

Indeed. :rocks:

The irony is that almost all info about E92 have already been said & shown, but only a few have been aware of that.

I despise that banned bast..d Tine, but I have a strange feeling the guy really had some real info.

ok thanx.. i had no idea im new to the forum so i just saw the pic from earlier in the thread... i dunno why they would make the front end differ... you would think since they are in the same series (3er) that they would make some portion of the car identical for aesthetic identifiability as well as cost effectiveness.. but thats just me
