Use car soap! That what I use, since my wheels are painted....u can use easy brush behind the wheels.

You should see the difference with the Meguiar's stuff compared to just washing soap and water on my oem rims... It's like night and day! After using the Meguiar's cleaner the rims came out like 95% as good as new and the dirt ran right off the wheel when rinsing. I only had to rub a little bit with my wash mit.

When I use only soap and water there seems to be much more scrubbing and on the rim there is always be a thin layer of yellowish tinge to it.

I'd like to continue using the Meguiar's cleaner but i'm concerned that the finish on the VMR rims might not be as resilient as the oem rims when I use a strong cleaner.

I'll be honest, I am incredibly lazy sometimes and go a long time without washing my rims properly. What I do for the in-between washes (the ones where I don't physically remove and scrub the rims inside/out) is spray the shit out of them with this generic green Simoniz wheel cleaner from Canadian Tire. The stuff was cheap so I just spray the hell out of them, let them soak, use a big brush for the face/lip and a tooth brush for the insides of the spokes and lug holes, and then rinse them off. Not the greatest regiment I admit, but they come out pretty damn good looking.

And I agree about using a wheel cleaner as opposed to soap, the soap just dosen't loosen up the brake dust nearly as easily. Trust me Farhad, you will notice the difference albeit only really on the non-black part of your iForged's

I'd like to find a brush similar to the ones to clean out bottles that will be narrow enough to clean behind the spokes. I checked at Canadian Tire but they didn't have any. I wonder if Napa or would have something like that?

Ask the vendor you bought your VMR from if Meguiar's cleaner is good for your wheel, if they say no, they might recommend something better .

BTW what your wheel's finish?

Meguiars is just fine. Stay away from cleaners like "Poor Boys" wheel cleaners. Those are designed to melt brake dust off and are highly acidic to wheels and paint in general. Any questions feel free to contact us

That would be appreciated but what are one of those EZ brushes worth? What do they look like? Would it be long enough to reach behind my spokes?

Ooops! I didn't realize it was a link...

I checked it out and that is exactly what I am looking for. If you could pick one up that would be great. You'll have to let me know a few days in advance before you come to Ottawa to make sure I can meet with you.

best brush i ever had was the bmw brush. it's thinner and longer than the EZbrush, costs $70 at the dealership. i forgot it at a car wash now i'm doing my wheels by hand.

Damn $70? EZ brush is long enough....i'll upload some pics later.

Yea man, just the chrome part since the brake dust get stuck on the lip lol. I know they are expensive but i use small pieces. I used about 4 clay bars, i bought them from canadian tire (meguiar).....the package comes with 2 clay bars, QD bottle and a small wax bottle that i never used haha.
