In your opinion, which custom powder coat would be closer to Black Chrome? Galaxy Black or Solar Rain? I'm trying to determine if the V710's are just better off going hyper silver when I'm ready to buy and me taking them to a chromer to get em done or if I should go with the custom powder coat instead.

To be honest, neither of those finishes truly looks like black chrome. We have gotten quotes to have wheels plated, so they will actually be black chrome, but it gets pretty expensive. Not sure if your local plating facility would be able to do it for less.

That's possible. It's possible that there's just a thin layer of PC on the center bore, which is making it hard to mount the wheels. Try taking a little bit of sand paper and cleaning that area out, as well as taking a wire brush to the hubs if you can. I know that the OEM hubs can get quite rusty!

I'm not really sure if the car is lowered, but if it is, it's not very much.

Tire/Wheel Package
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for the right set of tires for matte black VMR v710 wheels. Size: 18X8.5" Front, 18x9.5 Rear Weight: 22.5lbs Front, 23.5lbs Rear Bolt Pattern: 5x 120 mm Offset: 35 mm Front & 33 mm Rear I have a 2007 BMW 328i (E90) RWD with stock suspension. I also live in CT where we get snowy winters. I'm looking for a set of all-season or winter tires that pairs well with this set of wheels. Any suggestions or recommendations would be great thanks. |

Do the V710 and VB3 take the oem centercaps? If not, what size do they take?
