MSRP - $39,845.00
Invoice - $36,895.00 (with manufacturer's advertising fee)
Price Paid - $37,595.00 (free mats and key chain)

I'm in Los Angeles, CA so our tax here is 8.25% (aka insane  )
Lease Deal - 1st payment/TTL Drive Off: $829.43 (out of pocket)
Monthly Payment - ~$515.00/month (can't remember now)

Mileage - 10k/year
Residual - 65%
Money Factor - .000875 = 2.1%!!!
Through BMW Financial Services
(Let me know if you'd like additional details )

I think I got an EXCELLENT DEAL.... bare bones drive-off... I got the "buy rate" Money Factor... got the car I wanted on the lot... called all local dealerships within a 25 mile radius and only found (2) 6 speed manual 330's.
How did you get that MF. The posted 330i MF buy rate is .00195?

Paddy it's my bad. My MF is .0021. I was "told" by the dealer that the MF was 2.1% but alas my paperwork shows otherwise. The buy rate is in fact .00195.

That's almost $3k over ED invoice and you didn't mention if metallic paint and transmission type. I'd keep looking. Some people are getting that price for US delivery. $800-$1k over ED invoice is easily doable right now.

You don't know how lucky you guys are!

I Paid $81000 for a 320 diesel! More or less the same as brand new new M5 in the US.

The sticker price for basic 320d E91 over here is $64900.

I'm considering to emigrate to the US!

2006 e90 330i Sedan
Arctic Metallic

Poplar Natural Wood Trim
Manual Transmission (the real deal)
Premium Package
Sport Package
Navigation System
Satellite Radio
Split Folding Rear Seat
Black Carpeted Floor Mats
$44,640 MSRP
$39,980 Invoice
$695 Destination Charge
(Dest. added to above invoice is slightly off from KBB & Edmunds)
$330 MACO (Advertising)
$180 Training Service Fee
(closest overall invoice pricing - including these fees was found on CarsDirect.com)
$41,735 ($550 over "invoice" that includes MACO & Training)

Other fees
$45 doc fee
$15 tire fee
$425 shipped to my door and no 8.25% CA sales tax (pay the 7.6% AZ sales tax at DMV)

$500 refundable deposit
Ordered today & 7 weeks 'til delivery (I'm in 112 status)
112 Status: Production starts next week
110 Status: Production start 1+ weeks

Where? Pacific BMW - Glendale, CA
What A Deal!! :rocks:

All the dealers in AZ were afraid to touch this price. One matched with a price that tacked on the $425 shipping from CA as a part of the car price, but wanted a $4,000 non-refundable deposit. No deal there.

There was a $300 September price adjustment from $36,600 Base MSRP to $36,300 Base MSRP.

Hope this thread helps you at purchase time as it did me. Happy hunting!!

Looks like the difference in the base Invoice quoted by the dealer and the base Invoice quoted by KBB & Edmunds is the $180 training service fee. The training service fee must be included in the invoice prices being quoted by KBB & Edmunds. That means I paid $330 (MACO) + $550 (profit) over KBB invoice, or $880 total. Not bad. I've seen a little better posted here and a lot worse. This was a no haggle offer from Pacific and I should have taken it to start off with. Instead I tried to haggle with the 4 dealers in AZ for about a week. What a waste of time that was.

I got a 325xi wagon this last weekend, pretty well loaded, for $700 over ED invoice, no documentation fees or any other BS. I sent out a spreadsheet pdf with my options and invoice pricing, by e-mail to 8 Washington/Baltimore area dealers and got 5 responses. Two said BMW doesn't allow them to discount ED pricing and the low bid was from VOB BMW in Rockville MD.

MACO Fee

Does anyone have any experience with MACO fees? I'm trying to determine what would be a reasonable amount in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area (Maryland/Northern Virginia). Is $75 - 100 OK?

Thanks

When you say you sent out a spreadsheet with invoice pricing, do you mean that you itemized what you wanted (model, color, and options) by dealer invoice price (versus MSRP) and waited to see who would come in at the least amount over dealer invoice? Did the bids you receive include/itemize all dealer "processing fees" (not sure what would apply in an ED situation)?

Thanks
