I followed this DIY http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=valentine Its the one that runs up to the sunroof. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I have it mounted up by my rearview mirror. Mounted in clear view, but doesn't obstruct vision. If I recall correctly, all the necessary connectors are included with the V1. The only tricky part is getting into the front console, and then making sure you have a solid ground. Give it a shot- You'll like your V1 much better.

another one from Nashville
Hi,
nice to see you all here .. I am changing my tires today .. I hated run flats .. they are so noisy that i hated driving the car. Mine came with Pirelli Eufori RFT's on it and I can tell you Pirelli tires suck big time .. never again .. After doing some research on this forum, I decided to go with a set of Goodyear Eagle F1's and looking for place to mount/balance the tires and align the car? Any recommendations on a good tire shop in or around the West End area? |

Uhhhh, they SUCKED tonight. One of the top 3 worst performances of the year, easily.
Hey 911, where do you park when you go to the games? I usually park in the garage on Commerce across from the Renaissance. |

Order them from jlevisw.com. They're a vendor on the forum, and very reliable. I got mine from there, and they look fantastic.

I have my Goodyear F1s on and it makes such a huge difference. The car is sooo much better now .. I was reading forums where people would tell it makes difference but it is a different story when you feel it yourself. I really don't understand why BMW insists on RFT tires .. If people in BMW headquarters read these forums they will find out how unsatisfied people are with this technology (at least in its current form). Very very few people are in favor of RFTs indeed. Anyway, I have made my choice and went with non RFTs and have ordered the BMW mobility kit just in case. I think it is worth it.

What exactly is the mobility kit. I know roughly what it includes, but how is that going to help if you've got a flat, or shredded tire? I'd love to get non-RFTs, but I'd hate to get stranded and have to get my car towed. Thoughts?

I park on Church street in that really small lot, or I usually park at Asphalt Beach. There is only like 5 spots there but there is always an open one or 2 there. Very easy to get out and leave. Its pretty close and it doesnt cost anything Im pretty sure

RFT's should be a factory option.
Personally, I appreciate not having to change flats. I've been through 5 flat RFT's, covered under the $500 insurance I bought at delivery. $380/tire. If you were wondering, nails or screws for every one, no sidewall bubbles. I think I pick up the nails/screws on 65, when passing on the shoulder. |

Hey 911, TN_3, and whoever else goes to preds games...
Are you guys going to the game tomorrow night? Seems like most of us go to the games, yet we never meet up. I'll have my 5.0's in if you want to see them, 911. Let me know, we could meet up somewhere after the game.. Starbucks maybe?
