hey guys, anybody know where i can get wheels fixed? I found a few flat spots in my right two wheels...

I would recommend calling your local NTB (national tire and battery) and they will be able to recommend you to a reliable shop.

Pep boys in cranberry also has a good network...

I used this guy when I had some curb rash on my wheel last fall. And will be going to him after I was parking like an idiot just the other day, and curbed another wheel. Couldnt even see the scratch after he was done. I believe he works out of the P&W BMW shop in shadyside. Thats where I picked my wheel up from him anyway. Nice guy too.

Actually i wish i could have said i did...I had them mounted and balanced at Flynns on Babcock, and they felt a bit unbalanced at first, so i take it back in for the first time to balance my wheels and they felt even worse after. So i take it back in for the 2nd time and they tell me my right two wheels are bent. At that point im like WTF.

I know for a fact i didnt hit a pothole and these are less than 2 weeks old.

...Nevertheless, just my luck.

Alright guys I was told yesterday that there is a sales tax on extended warranty... is it so? I'm about to pick BMW gold warranty and have never heard of this before.

I think fedex/ups will pretty much be at my house every other day next week. Should be getting Painted Reflectors, Painted grille, JB3, Injen Intake, and hopefully the full interior LED package along with the LED license plate. Drew i'm off thursday, prob goin to grove city but if your free i'll swing by pgh to checkout that lip

Does any1 in the area have the jb3 data cable for sale? I bought the jb3 2.0 used off some1 on the boards n it didn't come with it

The 4th was pretty boring for me... made it to the Buccos game Saturday night to see the 12-3 beating we took. I swear there were more Phillys fans than Pirates fans there.

I dont know of anyone else on here with JB3, but you could maybe contact AK Motorwerks I know they install plenty so maybe they could hook you up.

Our Pittsburgh thread has kinda died down!!! Is everyone still planning on going to the PVGP? I can only go Saturday, but I should be there pretty much all day.

Yepp, I sent my jb3 to Terry to have him install a g3 control box, fix a few pins and install my PnP harness. I paid him $120 to do all this and he sent me back a unit that didnt work... They said they tested it on a car and when i pushed for a better answer they said they used their "in house" tester, Whatever that means... So that all kinda pissed me considering I sent my unit in to get FIXED and they didnt fix it.

I'm gonna take advantage of Shivs current offer and send my Pnp harness to him and get a Procede CANbus unit for about $600

Are there any BMW dealerships around here that are cool with mods? My car took a good 8 sec to start this morning think its about to have the hpfp problem soon

What do you have done to it so far? I didnt think the JB3 was in yet, so was yes are you thinking might void the warranty?

Jb3 and the injen dci aren't on the car yet but I'm eagerly wanting to install them this wknd. A&L BMW wouldn't be able to fit me in until 2 weeks from now. I've been having long cranks but no CEL's are on. A week after I got my car it randomly threw a half CEL and all A&L did was reset the computer and told me the car just hiccuped WTF!!

+1. I went there for routine service and was kind of worried about getting hassled about my mods, but actually got a few compliments instead. Real easy to deal with.
