Your CA can look in the computer and tell you what ship your car is on. Asking for that information isn't unusual at all. They should offer it up readily.

I don't want to jinx you, but I think you will make it. How did you find out it was at port? The recorded message, or a live person? If it was the recorded message, then you have probably been there for a day or two. My car was at the port on the 20th or 21st and made it on the Courage for the 23rd departure.

Nice! Thanks for not jinxing it. The status changed this morning on the recorded message that it arrived at the port, I didn't want to bother the live person for the 800th time. This is definitely good news!

I hear ya on buggin' the live person...but last time I called, the guy was super nice,

Me: "I hope not, since I'm supposed to pick it up in Munich!!"

Then he went on to say as a BMWFS client, that I've been preapproved for the BMW Credit card, and asked if I'd like one and went into this whole spiel about the benefits and such...

Seriously...but I'm sure my CA has figured out who i am... He claims all the board members are the same way about their cars and always wanting to know status. He takes it in stride and has been great about it. but I highly doubt anybody is as nutty as I've been...

No, my CA hasn't given me a delivery date, but I'm thinking it will be the week of May 14th. I'm currently driving a 2003 Saab 9.3 Aero, which has been a great car, but doesn't compare to the 328i. What options did you get on your 328xi?

Updated my sig with some details. I live in St. Louis Park so probably not far from you. I also checked out Motorworks.....that place is huge. In the end I went with Sears b/c of location as well.

Well, lets just say we got lucky! I'm waiting for the Western Highway to show up on the currently docked list.

Since there aren't many others on the Western Highway, I'm hoping it will be a quick discharge.

Potty_Pants, how long did it take from "Released to carrier awaiting transportation to the port of exit" until the status changed to "is at dock"? My car has been in "Released to carrier" status since April 27. This waiting SUCKS ASS!

I knew it was too good to be true. Looks like the Western Highway is still docking on Thursday 5/3. Maybe it's getting in before 8:00 as originally scheduled. As long as it doesn't come in later I am happy.
