had the hawks played just a tad better on game 6 your mighty pacers would be golfing or fishing right now, so yes mad props to the hawks and to the wizards for eliminating the pacers
By that logic, your mighty Heat were just as close to the golf course last year when we took them to 7 games.

I'm tempted to bet with you on the Wizards series now as well. Just to see how confident you are in them.

Clippers in 5 . No answer for Jamal Crawford, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Most important person this series is Doc Rivers.. who just coached circles around okc coach.

true, but you can't compare the heat's pedigree with the pacers, the heat have a bunch of war veterans that can take on anything and aren't faced by anything, they've been there done that three times in a row (3 time conference champs) where the pacers are very weak minded and lack the experience.

Wow... I'd be pissed if I were the owner and fans of the Nets!
Jason Kidd threw the towel in far too early. What kind of message does this send...

I absolutely detest the Spurs. Hopefully Portland can at least make a competitive series.

Someone call KG and tell him that the nets are in Miami. I don't think he came for this first game.

It's amazing how the Spurs play slow, and suddenly you are losing by 20. Fundamental basketball at it's finest.

Big game tonight Clippers @ OKC... Clippers did their job and won game 1. If they win this game OKC is done. I completely expect a good game and wouldnt be surprised if OKC won it... But I know my guys can bring it. Hopefully they can eek out another win...

I don't know about just 5 games, we know KD can get a game or 2 but I agree 100% with your Doc Rivers point. OKC doesn't run a lot of sets and when they do as soon as they get down by like 5 points they break everything off and it's KD against the world and the then Westbrook bricking 3's...
If OKC doesn't tighten up quick between Rivers and a true point guard like Paul they are in trouble tho lets also not forget that CP3 hit 8 3's in that game and that was a lil fluky... Great game tonight

actually they ball really hard, look at their bench on the offensive boards, v high intensity n concentration.

Gotta give it to coach Pop on how he prepares his team.

I think when he meant play slow....he was referring to pace...they aren't running up and down the court at a crazy pace...the spurs take more time and play half court basketball. Intensity and pace don't necessarily have to go together.

Let's fact it.... A HEAT vs CLIPPERS Finals would be "Must See TV" with plenty of star power and almost a "All-Star" feeling. BUT, at the rate the Spurs are playing, they will win it all, which I'm hoping not.

did you guys not watch last years finals where the spurs couldn't close out the heat????? in regulation in game 6???? in overtime in game 6?????? or in game 7????? 3 opportunities they had and couldn't do it.

what makes both of you think it will happen this year??

i want some of whatever both of you are smoking now

Every series is different....that was last year....Last years Spurs pushed the Heat to the brink...it's not like the Heat demolished the Spurs. It took every bit of what the Heat had to dismantle the Spurs.

If its Spurs vs Heat Part 2....the Spurs have a good shot at taking them down this year.

Also consider that Mike Miller is no longer a part of the Heat...so they have one less 3 point threat

You learn from mistakes. And I'm pretty sure the Spurs won't make the same mistake twice.
