E series PS1 has seen one over 400whp and nothing else even close so that dyno is suspect. Expect about 20whp over the stock turbo, 380whp should be doable on E35 and FBO. PS2 is 450whp on 93 pump gas and has been over 550whp by many people, usually on some ethanol. Meth works well to get you over 500whp on 93. Yes, to get 550whp you will need fueling mods, but even without you are looking at 100whp difference pump gas to pump gas between the 2. The PS1 is still small enough where it can't hold boost to redline. It is better than the stock turbo, but still too small.

ok... hm.. missed it again by few points.
Good point - I digress, 350-370 whp depending on gas and tune for S1. 450-550 whp depending on gas and tune for S2. Minimal difference of $1600 plus install? Better Better? Also, I see Pure1 in your sig.. how do you like it? Happy with power levels vs cost? Thanks

The reason the PS1 is caught in a hard place is because you still need high octane in order to run that much boost. If you're already running high octane then you will most likely want a larger power increase. To put it into perspective... When I was on the stock turbo I was running 20 psi which would taper to 15 psi which is when I would shift. I was running a mixture between 100 octane race fuel and methanol injection. When I installed the stage 2 turbo I switched to MHD and on 92 octane pump gas only, I was making the same power on pump that I used to make maxing the stock turbo out with race fuel and methanol.
Stock turbo - 12.6 @ 112 mph (race fuel and methanol) Stage 2 turbo - 12.6 @ 112 mph (92 octane only) Both runs were with poor 60 foot times.

I would not do the PS1 again. For the trouble to install it isn't worth it. There was no PS2 when I did mine, so it was the only option. 100% just do PS2 and be done with it now. I am looking to upgrade in the near future to the PS2 if I can stop modding my SLK55!
