Ocha mentioned that secret menu a while back, but I cant recall how to get to it. If I remember correctly its a PITA to get to, espectially if your hauling ass around the track. Will it stay on the screen while your driving?

Not so pita, but you are required to do it all over again once you turn off the car.. It will stay on the screen while you are driving tho.

Coolant only gets up to 107ish degrees celcius for me on the circuit . Been trying this new product named "MoCool" which is made by Motul. Check it out, it does lower my coolant temperature a bit. Myabe just enough to make my coolant not overheat on the track. I poured in less then 1/2 bottle to my existing coolant and it was good enough.

BMW Secret Menu: Coolant Temps

1. Hold mileage reset button until _01 comes up (approx 10 seconds) then quickly push button until you get to _19. If you start getting _01.01 just hold it for another 3 seconds and then press quickly.

2. Once you're at _19 click through the "code", which is the sum of the last 7 digits of your VIN number.

3. Now wait until you see _01 again and click through to _07. The coolant will be displayed.

Jon
so this "MoCool", you just pour it to mix in with the current oem coolant fluid?
no need to drain and refill with new fluid and mix with this?
