Damn, I got pulled over driving my integra in brooklyn for My muffler but its only $25 so ill just pay it but I could tell they were looking for something else, they probably thought they could get me for something else because they kept looking inside my car with their flashlights even when i went in my glove box. Its just hard out here for a pimp..lol.

Speaking of cops favoring others like them reminded me what happened to me about 13 years ago. While I was sitting in my car legally parked at Bleaker Street in West Village, Manhattan, a car suddenly scraped my car. It was 3 am in the morning and I was waiting for my friend. The driver tried to take off but ended up hitting a tree and got stuck. I ran to his car and realized that the driver was totally drunk. He couldn't even stand still. I called cops. When they showed up I over heard their conversation with the drunk guy. He turned out to be Fire Department chef. According to law they were supposed to lock him up and seize his car. But guess what they did. They tried to talk me into not to file a claim and just accept his offer of couple hundred dollars for my damage. My damage was much more than couple of hundred dollars and I was not going to let that asshole get away with it. After cops tried to convince me to accept $200 and forget about it, they realized that I was not going to change my mind. Then they started threading me with things like they would put down on accident report that I was my fault because I was getting out of parking space and swirled into street and caused the accident and so on. But I was much smarter that they expected. I had a digital tape recorder and was recording to whole conversation including that they admitted that the other driver was to drunk to walk let alone drive. The point when their tone became more serious to make me forget the whole thing I showed them the recorder. You should have seen their faces. Then they suddenly changed their tone and said it was totally misunderstanding and they were trying to find a peaceful solution and bs bs bs. After they talked to the fire chef they said he was offering $3000 cash to forget the whole thing.

I thought about going to court and suing them but at that time my daughter was just born and I had family health issues and did not have time for courts and lawyers. So I took the 3K and drove a way. It cost me $600 to fix the car.

From time to time I still regret my decision but it is too late.

I got pulled over for "being on my phone" not long ago. Funny thing is that my phone was in my coat jacket that was hanging in the back...
