Yes you can also run 100% e85 with only an upgraded lpfp, but again, conservatively tuned. I made almost the same power on e60 as i do on e85, since you have to tune conservatively in order to not max out the hpfp inthe upper rpms.

I still peak around 21psi but taper to 16/17psi at 6k rpm to allow the hpfp to keep up.

Of course, every car is different though and if you want to run any kind of e85 mix, you need to continually log until it is dialed in.
On that note, and since this is a basics thread, it might be helpful to tell people what to look for in the logs. I believe 50 psi is the floor, if that's the right word, for the lpfp/fuel low pressure sensor. But what are you looking for re: the hpfp/rail pressure, and in what RPM range?

JB4 Logging

LPFP = FP_L you want to keep above 50
HPFP = FP_H you want to keep above 10

MHD Logging

LPFP = Fuel Low Pressure Sensor you want above 50
HPFP = Rail Pressure you want to keep above 1500

Not sure about COBB' values as Ive never used it to log before.

I ran a stage one on my stock twins. It was good for e55 all day before my hpfp said no more. A stage one will be more than adequate for 90% of daily users.

Also with my stage 1 I very seldom saw pressures below 60psi running e55. My hpfp has always been my limiting factor!!!!! Even on the single setup running e40 my stage one was great. It was the high pressure dipping to below 10 (jb4).

Nice good stuff. I usually put around 5 gallons of e85 to run Cobb e30. The more the better cuz I have 91 octane only

I could be wrong but it looks like this was done on the stock HPFP. Is this only possible because it was a glory run and not an everyday setup?

Has anyone dynoed their car on factory turbos and 100% e85? using an upgraded LPFP and port injection or Vargas upgraded shotgun kit?

everything else stock except lpfp and 100%e85, I dyno'd a tad over 410whp/460ish wtq.

FBO with 100% e85 dyno'd around 450whp/500wtq but a conservative tune that keeps the hpfp right at the minimum pressure. peak 21psi, taper to 17psi. I don't see gaining more than 10 or so whp though if the HPFP wasnt the limiting factor, as the stock turbos cant handle much more than where I am at.

Just change a lpfp and I could be 410whp? Not bad. Doesn't seem like a big gain for the FBO--I don't really want to deal with the emissions crap with DP here in CA...and for only an extra 40hp doesn't legitimize the cost. Might consider the fuel pump upgrade. Did you do a flash as well?

Without the tune the car can't do any better with an upgraded LPFP and e85 in the tank

Hardware mods are only realised once you tune the software to make use of the new hardware. Make sense?

You'll have to do an E85 BEF with JB4. Also, not sure on how long the car will last like this since the turbos are working pretty hard with the stock DPs choking the exhaust side.

Wow that is pretty impressive. And you are AWD? did you do a Chargepipe\bov and downpipes on that 410whp run?

Thats awesome because assuming you have AWD and 20% drivetrain loss that means you were at 492hp and 552hp at the crank?

Makes sense. Obviously when you double the boost longevity goes out the window. How high were the IAT? what did you use for the tune?

Did you have FBO before? I always thought you had at least DP's. You had posted your HP with FBO a couple posts back...assuming you took stuff off?
