you won't believe this but.....i just beat a ferrari enzo from a 30mph start to 150 mph. it was amazing. the engines were roaring, the cars on the highway were parting before us like the red sea, and my shifts were dsg perfect.... the others on the road were in awe and wonderment. it was a momentous day for bmw engineering and of course for me. i finally had about 7 car lengths on him when i looked over .... and realized it was eddie griffith driving the F car.

But all jokes aside. A lot of people tend to look at ET times over trap times.
Yes the TT got an ET .1 sec slower than me. I have a 6mt and the OT has an auto. Ill be the first to say that an auto can out launch me. ET's show more the driver and the trap speed shows more of the car. +2 mph differance from the TT and the procede, which is a lot. But what do you expect the procede is making over +40-50 wtq and a few more hp also. But yo ulises 335i you dont live too far away from me. We should meet up and do some comparo's. Blue335i has been havng trouble with his car. I think a DV cracked last night on his car, so it will be out of commision for a bit. ( not related to TT in anyway )

i don't know, but im happy with my turbo tuner even if you guys say my brother sucks at driving... i don't know how they say he sucks because we both were in third gear... we only raced all of third with no shifting in into 4th gear and i beat him...
but anyways im thinking of selling my tt when shiv comes out with the v.2 procede....that new procede is realy gonna make the most power/acceleration you can possibly get!!! |

For the guy interested in the Vette, I think you can find them cheaper. Here is an example.
Hopefully you can see the link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1670055

Second in a C6 Vette goes up to 71 mph so if you where at 65mph the right choice would have been 3rd. 2nd would probably not be as good because of the extra shift. You would downshift then have to instantly up shift to third. NO GOOD! GM LS-1 and LS-2 engine management are know to drastically reduce HP say if you where stuck in traffic or engine was very hot and you where flogging. It takes a good bit of clean cool air driving to erase this from the ecu. Hence why so many people reset there ecu at the track when they have an LS engine. Also why you see alot of mid 13 second runs for c6's and low 14 seconds for GTO's. ECU needs to be reset. Its annoying. I show this trick to alot of LS guys at the drag strip. Reset ecu instant .4 to .5 seconds off your E.T. A turbo tuner has been dyno proven for 40 to 50 hp. I agree a C-6 vette is faster. But conditions play a role. LS engines really don't wake up til about 5000 miles. This is not a black and white race. BMW is heavier. 370 lbs. Not a huge difference especially if one driver weighs more and the status of the fuel in the tank. Vette almost full ...bmw under 4 gallons. All of the sudden wih a 100 lb heavier driver and lts more fuel the lb difference is down to 175lbs. Toss in the Generals controlling ecu and........? Vette rwhp around 350 BMW rwhp with turbo tuner around 320 This is not a drivers race (vette is faster)....but it is not out of the question that a 335I with a turbo tuner can be pesky to a stock c-6 vette to 100 mph |

I don't disagree with you on the other points and I've stated as much before. A Procede or AA or TT 335 can be pesky to a stock C6 up to that 90-100 range, after that C6 will pull away at a pretty good pace. If the C6 driver is unfamiliar with the car he will get caught by surprise. |
