I wish I had not posted but I can't believe everyone believes the story.
No news reports and he will not go to press. No police reports about it. He says police say there is no evidence. It only happened on Saturday night and the case is over. It looks like his history of serious violent injury goes further than shot, slashed and smashed with a baseball bat. Never has he expressed any interest in catching those who attacked him. |

I think you can cross the op and the MLR maseeeeve off your Christmas card list.
As the op has chosen to stick his head above the parapet, questions do need to be answered though. Should be interesting to see how it all pans out! |

Serves me right for googling Meet Lion Rapists.
I was on MLR years ago, last time 2004 and had a few posts. Only showed 1 tonight when I logged in. Don't think any of the ones that took offence were any more that the riff raff of the site who automatically have to turn abusive. Little worry to me. |

Nearing 22,000 hits after less than a day.
I wonder if the guy is getting a little worried that it's getting out of control. If this did make it's way to the papers obviously now it's been well documented on the internet, would the police be forced to investigate a crime that was not, then landing the guy in deep for wasting police time? |

I still see no real reason to doubt him - sorry.
If he is after cash of glory, he seems to be doing a good job of turning it down and staying fairly humble. The pigs round me don't investigate numerous crimes, though granted I doubt this one would be 'closed' due to its seriousness. Reading between the lines, the Op hasn't actually said that, he just said they weren't doing anything - that's possibly just his opinion. As for attempted rape, papers, reports etc... Hmmm, who knows? Why would it go down as that when it could just as easily be a mugging. Are you sure you guys don't just think he looks like a dishonest little scrote and have therefore made your own opinion up? Matt |

There's something not right with the scar IMO, the depth would vary as he was slashed by a right handed attacker, it would be deeper towards the centre and shallower at the start/end. It looks more like a control even scar.
Also, when you're discharged from Hospital, you have one of those wrist bands and we all know they take about four years to get off. Last edited by creepy coupe; 07-20-2011 at 03:06 AM.. |

It's an absolute fairytale that has gripped the net.
Mother of 2 walking through the woods ambushed by armed men who were trying to rape her. Then a man risked his life to fend off the men to save her. He said himself the police were not taking the case forward or making any reports or passing it on to the press and there is no evidence. The police have said that to him. So between Saturday and Tuesday all the police investigations took place when he was lying half dead on his bed unable to speak for part of that time. Police would surely have to carry out forensic tests and get results etc? But no, Tuesday morning the case is closed and that's why you will hear nothing about it. If it did happen he was a witness and has been able to give a good account of what happened, the woman was also a witness, there is injury and there will be DNA from her struggling with the attacker or indeed Deano knocking out the guy. It's just such an extreme story that will have Harrow residents concerned if the police took no action about such cases. There was another reported attempted rape in the local news where a guy tried to grab a lady into his car. That made the news but not this far more distressing case does not. BTW, he was a member here before Deano335i. At 19 he had a Evo FQ-400, then a 335i. Last edited by Kerr; 07-20-2011 at 03:16 AM.. |

As you say the wound is very even but it also changes direction around the neck. You would not get that with a fast slashing motion. Would a deep wound scab after only 3 days? Pretty amazing to have a clean exit bullet wound there and miss everything inside too. |

Utter bullshit - there is no way he'd leave hospital the day after a gunshot wound. There is no such thing as a clean gunshot wound - even if it does go straight through without hitting anything (the location of the dressing would indicate it would have perferated his intenstines at least), the bullet takes scraps of dirty clothing with it that could cause infection - these have to be removed and the patient given antibiotics and monitored.
As has been said, this would be all over the local news and probably make the national news.

Been thinking about why he was so desperate for his car, maybe because he thought the other " dealers" would take it a payment?!

I'm calling bullshit as well, this would be all over the news, internet, papers, if true it would be a great 'feel good' story. The injuries look real, however the story does not, I suspect the police have stopped investigating because he has nothing to tell them ...
