Here's mine. I went with Avery Denision after the installer showed me 3M after a few years and the AD on the same car.

why not do the entire car, or entire panels, then there will be no lines? Too expensive?

The whole hood can be done now, they make kits for the whole hood and fender. They run about 1200-1300 though, then there would be absolutely no lines at all.

I got it not so much for stone chips that you can touch up but, more for protection against pitting. It's basically like sandblasting the front bumper and my Evo got it bad from all the crap that blows onto the roads down here. No touching it up only option is to respray.

Hello. If the film is properly installed you can't see it at all. Especially if you can get a full Hood, Fender install with wrapped edges, I guarantee you, you won't be able to see the difference. Check out the pictures.

http://www.autopaintguard.com/full_hood.html

Also for people that have the clear bras, make sure you are using Plexus on the film.

If you are looking for a clear bra installer in your area, go to www.xpel.com and type in your zip code on the bottom right.

Interview your installer and make sure he is a good installer and don't go with the cheapest!!! All films have pros and cons, make sure your installer backs up whatever he sells.

Thanks

^If you are in the Tampa area, Ryan is the best installer around.

Too expensive! My installer had a Ferrari 430 in the shop he was covering completely for a photo shoot...at a whopping cost of $7500.

I'd much rather have the clear bra than chips.touch up paint is always noticable.

Yea clear bra swirls just like paint. But I also wax the clear bra after applying plexus. So I can hide the swirls a bit.

I mean first, the car looks way better without a clear bra and second, after a simple DIY touch up paint you can no longer see the rock chips and it looks like new.
I have clear bra on my vehicle, it's a good investment, not only it protects the vehicle from rock chips, bugs, plus easy to clean, if you seen vehicles w/o clear bra? Its rock chip heaven:mad::mad:. But everybody has there opinion..
