BMWP intercooler is 530mm x 130mm x 110mm
EGR delete looks possible as it's VERY similar to the E46 M57 one, which there's loads of kits about for. 3" exhaust system will be done too. Still waiting for injector info though Getting there, slowly

Any updates on the Turbo? I have contacted turbodynamics.co.uk and said that there is nothing they can do for my 177 bhp model.
From your research is there anyone else that can do something? The forge intercooler seems good!

Sorry for the late reply.
As far as injection goes, the standard euro4 (bosch reference 0 445 110 216) injectors which come in the 163bhp engine are enough for a turbo/IC upgrade and going for the euro3 030 reference would be a downgrade. I own a 150bhp engine and upgraded my failed euro3 injectors to euro4 and I'm now making the same power I did before but with much less rail pressure. If the path was to put in a really huge turbo (and everything else needed) to go past the 300bhp mark, the ones from a 35d 272bhp (Bosch 0445110219) would be the choice. i am eye'ing up one of these intercoolers:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CXRacing-0...item20c0337849 its for a 335i, but just has straight exits, so a silicon joiner should see it mate up to the 320d pipe work nicely. i'm a tight git thought and am looking at importing the core on its own, rather than paying the inflated BMW prices. the core alone can be bought for about 170$ from ebay.com when you search for RX7 FMIC, as seen here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CXRacing-FMI...5a8d28&vxp=mtr as for the turbo charger, im also on the hunt for one of the SUPER rare Garrett GT2056, which is the turbo they used on the Alpina D3 before it went twin charged. there are copious amounts of GT2260's about from E90 330D's but im thinking this would be far too laggy. i am wanting upgraded injectors myself, as mine have done 180k now, and will no doubt be VERY tired...! |
