OP: you still haven't told us what car you are driving now

it will make some understand better why you miss your 335 so much.

Kid number two on the way meant that we needed at least one "kid friendly car". My wife and I both had small cars, the E90 being the largest.

So, I bought an Acura MDX with the Advance Package. It's totally great for what it is, just miss the E90.

The newer xi can be had with the Sports package but you don't get sports suspension. You get the seats/wheels/shadowline. my first xi didn't have Sports package, and my current 335 does. there is definitely a difference in steering. The front end of the xi is a bit heavier, plus like someone else said, the geometry is different. If i hadn't switched from an xi i would have been happy with the steering

It's not really about the car seats as much as the gear. Drop a BOB stroller and a pack and play along with two infant rear-facing car seats, a diaper bag and a few pieces of luggage into an E90 with enough room for me (6'2") and my wife, (5'10") into an E90 and tell me if that works... I can tell you from experience, that it doesn't... hence the MDX.

Btw, we'll have two kids under 2 years.

I just traded in a 2008 535 for a 2011 335 with M Sport. It's amazing... I can't believe I was driving a 5 and not a 3. They're so much more sporty and much more fun to drive.

yes.... chassis of 3 is incredible. 5's are well made but it just dont have the perfect recipe of the 3. big difference when carving corners.

I would say why would you do it? A new one is around 53k and that's without navi. The car has gone up about 6 grand since 2007, and it's the same car.

What made you get an MDX over an X5 because I'm in the market for an SUV right now too.

Despite the common issues and the high cost of repairs and maintenance... it's such an amazing car to drive... well worth it!

For those often frustrated, you never know what you have until it's gone. Just had to share.
I know the feeling...my beloved N54E92 was dropped off to the new owners on 09/17 @ 9:00 AM. I miss the rush of power of the twin turbos pulling the car effortlessly and making every other car on the road seem like they are in "slow motion" mode.
