The fuel lines are fine for ethanol. It's not a bad idea to upgrade to larger ones for more flow, but I'm nowhere near that being a problem. The HPFP is something to monitor closely on e85 and the EKP is another weak link.

Just installed my BMP Stage 2 bucket less. Car idles and runs way smoother. It was obvious my stock LPFP was a bit on the weak side.

On an older OEM LPFP running e30 is problematic. A new(er) OEM LPFP can run e30, but it's advised not to run e30 all the time. I thought if you wanted to run full E85, you needed a stage 3 pump? |

Not sure why the price is jacked up now (they're also out of stock now), but I bought this one for $52:

The videos & DIY's have fuel line like you have but a "T" on it. One side goes to the Venturi & one side goes to the fuel line. The Venturi dude should an E85 approved corrugated line going down to the Venturi. |

Yep, I'm not using the venturi in my setup. That's why I said it was crazy not to cut the bucket. But I figured it would be interesting to try it this way and see what happens. My thought process is that with the 2 return lines dumping fuel back into the bucket, I'll still be better off than going bucketless. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll be doing plenty of logging to keep an eye on things.

That line will probably burst after some time if submerged in ethanol -I know it's rated for it, but doesn't seem to last. You can use nylon or Teflon based lines, if you don't have a source email me and I can help get you sorted.

just go with a drop in bucketed method... never had issues with one. can run full e85 on it without ever having to worry about using the right material hose etc. It saves a lot of time and time is money!

Anyhow, my install kit is e85-approved. It was put together by a company that makes and sells fuel systems. I'm fairly sure they have a handle on what components will get the job done. |

When you buy a pump, it either comes with the filter and hose or you buy an install kit separately. There's no guessing or special knowledge needed. This isn't rocket surgery. |

I totally agree with this. And equally as much as saving the money, I enjoy putting it together myself. This isn't for everyone, but I think it's fun.
