If I had known you had these Steve I would have had them mate.
It is a fair price for their last night at £125 each, I just got lucky on a pair so bought them for Fiona and her mate, but think they were £95 each anyway, face value, so paying £30 extra for something people are getting £400 extra for is nothing. Some people need to lighten up a bit, they are worth what people will pay. |

Live concert from one of the most impressive bands ever, and even I have to admit I liked their last album, it is their final night of the tour and it could be the last ever concert they ever do together for all we know, how is £125 over the top for a night out seeing something like that?!

I missed out on tickets to see him at The Royal Albert Hall when he did his Swing When You're Swinging night, they were serious money for the pair and I decided it was too much, however, when the DVD was released I was gutted that I didn't go as it looked to be a cracking night.
I don't like his solo stuff by the way, but that cover album is amazing. |

They said the same about The Beatles remember, all modern pop nonsense that will never stand the test of time. They may not be 'cool' to like but they deserve all the praise they get imho. I have never sat down with one of their CDs, but whenever I hear a new track of theirs it always impresses. But then what do I know? I only listen to classical, Jazz and EDM. |

Well Barlow was voted by the industry as the UKs greatest ever song writer, knocking McCartney and Lennon off the top spot, the stuff that guy has written for the band and other people like Shirley Bassey is excellent.
As I say, not my music but they are very good at what they do. |

Haha good man. Just realised that all those moaning, ie. Kerr, jabroni80, JJD all have something in common...... Say no more, anything that doesn't come free when you collect 3 Iron Bru ring pulls is classed as expensive up there!! |

Actually, that was said with tongue firmly in cheek, but I wonder if location does make a big difference to perceived value of things like concert tickets?
My local pub is around £40 a head for a meal in the bar area, go down to London and some places are double that, go up north and you will pay around 1/3 less, get up to Scotland and you can get a cracking meal for around half. What you pay for a normal night out must change your perception of nights out at things like concerts? |
