For me its just about right, reasonable. If you want the best LEDs out then this is the way to go. Its not in the grand at all though if that is what anyone is thinking.

Luis does do LCI sedans but not in the RGB setup currently. I have seen the LCI kits that he puts out and they look SICK!

hey everyone thanks for the interest. Once the prototype is setup and I iron out the details of the wiring to be able to send headlights out with RGB configuration I will set a price.
BTW color choices are as follows: Yellow Orange Red UV violet Blue Aqua Lime Green White there's a switch box with 1 RGB LED so you can see the color set from the interior plus 1 switch and 1 button. The switch is for a straight to white mode..once the switch is depressed it goes back to standard color mode. The single button switches from all the static colors and once at the end of the cycle it goes into a fade mode then a color pulsing mode, then back to the first color in the static cycle. The system remembers the last color set so when the car turns on it will always be in the last tone selected. Also if you hold the selection button it switches them OFF. I will be making a plate for the ashtray position with the box attached to it so customers can fish the wires in and out of the cabin and have a spot to place the controller box. the white is a more neutral white with a blue 8k hue instead of a purple 6K like our standard rings. Another interesting difference is the LED array itself is white so the rings OFF look very nice as well...It will have the same OEM V2 treatment so they flow with the OEM rings and have the important aggressive lighting cut at the top like OEM does, the rings come from the same source and retain the same standard set as our whole line up which definitely outdoes the competition in longevity, quality and a zero failure rate. White Replica rings are definitely circulating and let me assure you at first glance they are similar but I have seen them in person and there's absolutely no comparison. As far as these RGB LED rings, lets just say I saw them and they are going in my car like YESTERDAY LOL Keep you all posted :-) |

Update
Ok people, a part was delayed in shipping so we will have to move this to next week for results. Fingers crossed that it comes in tomorrow so I can rush the car to Miami but I doubt this will happen ? Maybe....

Well, where do I start ?
Last I heard from Luis a part was on its way but was delayed via USPS, after that things became mute. I have been trying to contact him to get an update about the part for my car but not able to reach him, perhaps he is busy ? I will give it couple more days |

Spoke with Luis again today and this is the break down.
The down time here may not apply to everyone else with E92's because he has to map everything out as he goes along so I allowed him the extra time with the car. There is extra work with the remote and making the housing for it in the ash tray (I dont smoke). Last edited by BQTuning; 06-16-2011 at 06:17 AM.. Reason: added "/videos" |
