The deal is not done...
Hey just because you put down 1K does not mean the deal is done... I talked with my BMW dealership about this same situation. If you bought the car and signed all the paperwork, then it's a done deal. The 1K is totally refundable if you have not signed any paperwork. And even if you signed a deposit form, I would not hold up unless they already released the car to you. I'm guessing if you are putting up a deposit, then they don't have the car yet... So go back to them and get your payments lower!!! Much lower.. Good luck..

yeah, i know.
i left the dealership not feeling happy about it. at first, i was like, it's a bmw, a $130 more a month than what i'm paying now is not that bad. but then i thought... i also put down $4k and i used to have car. so then i started looking at the numbers... and man, was i unhappy. 325i6p... you had a similar situation? what was the outcome of it? |

Actually, buying a depreciating asset is always a bad financial move. But hey, we gotta drive to get some place. |

Going back to the original question, no it's not a good deal, my dealer just accepted my offer of:
2500 down 10k miles per year MSRP 35,020 (325i sport auto sat. prep) Neg. price 33,160 (1k over invoice) $321 per month with tax included! I know about not putting money down, i just wanted lower monthyl payments

With mine i got jet black, prem. pack. heated seats, and the wheel and tire insurance and after everything it was like 35,450. With 10,450 down, i pay 490.00 for five years.

DTDREW -thats highly irregular. a 46k car with those options for that amount.. i dont see that happening
- I am giving you 100% what the deal is...no Joke...He paid $1,100 over ED Invoice...The reason the deal is so good isbecause when you do ED the Residual is based on US MSRP and Cap Cost is based on ED Invoice... -Use my numbers and do the math....Its like getting a BMW 525i for the Price of a Camry. $425 a month including Bank Fee and 8.625% NY tax + $450 Security and DMV...That is It....(24MO. 77%rES 00160mf+0003 FOR ed) ... Thanks. |

Actually I did have a similar situation... I ended up getting a fair deal... Not great but fair.. 3K down 460.00 a month for 2 years... on a 36K car... That's with our state tax of 9.1% included.. I put 1k down on a car with one dealer, but after that the service sucked... So I went to another dealer and got a better price and better service... Since I did not sign paperwork and receive the car, the money was 100% refundable.. It's the law actually.. So good luck, pull out if you feel the deal is not good... |

325 sp, xenons, floor mats, chrome tips, alum pedals: $500 w/tax, $0 on delivery, 12k /year x 3 years. Good or bad, I used this deal to get out of a slightly over-mileaged z3c I was leasing (with some minor damage too)

DTDREW -was the dealer in brooklyn?
-Yes, we got it From Life Quality BMW in Bay Ridge Brooklyn..a few blocks awa from Century 21 and across the Mazda dealership....The CA is Andy Tse...very goot at his job.... I could have gotten even a better deal from Open Road BMW $750 over ED Invoice..but we all live in Brooklyn so for a few bucks its not worth it...plus we thought the deal was good as it is.... - I am picking up my 2006 Alpine White 325i Feb 27 via ED in Munich...I'll post picks once I get it....I got a similar deal.... -If you are interested or are having a hard time beliving then just PM me and Ill Scan and sent you my contract (not Bill Of Sale -that can change, but the actual BMWFS contract).... -By the way I see that you have the same car that I am getting and live in Brooklyn...Can you please let me know where you got your windows tinted? How much? and % tint? -Where did you get your wheels?...I love the chrome on white....check out my accord(and wife on the inside shot).... Thanks. Last edited by dencoop; 02-16-2006 at 08:11 AM.. |

I agree with you...The first time I went there the Lady CA spoke to me as If I was a 5yr. old...turned me off.....Then My friend and I went in again...I just wanted to show him the car I was interested in and this ther guy came up to us asked if he could help and I just said "No Thanks, your dealership sucks...i just wanted to show my friend the car i was interested in...."...he said why? and I told him the story about the first time i was there....he apologized and asked if he could make it up....everything is history from there.....It just goes to show that a good CA will make a Huge diff. in the mind of the consumer about the dealership....
Thanks. |
