signs of lost dog and you can contact local shelters and animal control and let them know you have the dog incase the owner starts calling them looking for their dog. they can then let the owner know?

Call the local Vets and ask if anyone has reported a missing dog.

Check to see if there is a local mini-Pinscher rescue organization. There are a ton of resuce orgs dedicated to specific breeds across the country. They can help you find a home. My Rottweiler is from a Chicagoland rottie rescue org.

Bring it to the shelter and it will be killed. Try to take it to a rescue. Though sometimes a rescue ends up in a dog having a shitty caged life for longer.

Ahhh!! I got a text from my brother today saying that it ran away...we put it out in the yard and it chewed through a patched up part of the gate and disappeared. Man I hope that dog is okay cus it's been pretty old lately.

Since the thread is done, Ill tell my csb of the night
Little over a year ago I was heading home at about 4 am in my E90(RIP), turned on my road, it was late and the road is empty at that time of night. I look up and a Weimaraner puppy was sitting in my lane, just sitting there and didnt even move when he saw me coming. I slammed on brakes and luckily had a quick enough reaction time and good BMW brakes and didnt hit him. I got out and he was filthy and covered in mud, didnt have a tag or anything on him. At the time I was staying at my moms and they have 3 dogs so I was puzzled what to do, but I couldnt just leave the guy so I put him in my front seat and took him home. Mud all over my tan interior and everything. Next day my mom and step dad were great full for me doing it. They called around and posted a bunch of fliers at gas stations etc...Next day one of my Step dads friends decided he wanted him until someone called, if no one did he would keep him. No one called and now he is happy with them with a fenced in back yard to play in csb

^ that is awesome man. That's a good ending. I just hope that the dog either ran back to her home and the owner has been looking for her. Either that or someone else took her in and is taking care of her right now.
