Throttle closure causes the bog, and theres alot more to this bog than throttle closure. throttle closure is caused by boost exceeding target values. Other reason for this bog, is knock cause by timing set point and fueling. As you know, cylinders will with more air in 4th gear at 5k rpm then 3rd gear at 3k rpm, same applies for shifting. |

Going back to Famoso in February and hoping for an 11.7.
BTW, I updated the initial thread with my mods.

im think it is more impressive that we have a BMW among top five with FAR LESS displacement. every other car around it is V8/V10FI

Working on the other run right now.

That boost is stage 2 race? Seems very low. Also how the car knocked at that low of a boost level with meth is beyond me. The knock looks pretty bad though.

I am starting to believe based on this information that piggybacks are indeed load limited. Come on, look at the boost Mr.5 is running, 15psi tapering to like 13, and running a 9.6 60-130? There are guys running 17-18psi who barely come close on automatics, FBO+meth.
So in a nutshell, load limit is reached, car dumps fuel and boost, power limited in real life, even though power looks good on a Dynojet (inertia based dyno).

hmmm. I know I was having issues with my meth system but I thought that was fixed.
Looks like the runs could have even been better.

Seems like GIAC is raising timing, so you either have meth flow issues, or the map timing is set to aggressive despite the low boost level. I would be real curious to see what you would be able to hit on 18-19psi

Dude, just run 100% meth through the system once. Bet your timing issues will be gone. Just one tankful as a test.

tempting but I think there's another issue that I may be overlooking.
