blizzaks on my oem 18'' run like butter through shitty snow conditions in Ithaca, NY... I was going to go with 17's with 17 blizzaks but i like my rims too much to downgrade, the blizzaks are even great on dry roads as well

It doen't snow enough here for winter tires, my friend runs winter specific tires on his m3 and it's funny to see his car driving in the snow (they work very well) but I do not see the point in spending $700 when it only snows a few times a year, just be careful and all season should be fine, least they are for me

I got winter take offs recently. Off a e90 330i, had to drive to Albany for them. 225-45-17, Blizzaks, runflat
I think it's worth it. for piece of mind. I go to montreal and Boston once in a while. Wouldn't want to get stuck on rt 84 somewhere and wait for a truck to dig me out of a ditch. |
