The 335 is being dropped off at DCM Tyres n Exhaust tonight for the replacement rear box's and quad tips to be fitted, I forgot I had purchased a e93 rear quad defuser last year that I was going to butcher and get moulded in to the GT rear defuser but that never happened. Its a cheep fiberglass item so it's on only as a guide so they know where to put the tips and it being replaced with a nice one that will be painted before it's fitted. Mirrors will be fitted on Saturday and also coded. May look at getting the car mapped as well. |

Had a very bizzy Sunday yesterday, purchased a set of air scoops to help with the forced air induction and fitted them.
Then I gave the undercarriage a good clean and re-furbbed the break callipers. |

Over the weekend I finally fitted the M3 side skirts and the electric fold mirror caps after picking every thing up from the paint shop, the skirts were a direct fitment although I had to slightly re-arrange 2 of the holes. The wing mirror covers went straight on.
I went to fit the angel eye bulbs but gave up, I couldn't get my hand in there to remove the bulb, Bumper off and head light out it is then. |

It's the little things,
After fitting the new wing mirrors and getting them to work on the button I decided to have another play last night and see if I could get them to fold on the key, a little bit of searching on the Carly App and hay presto There is a video but I cant load it for some reason but if you have that option on your key's then you know how much pleasure it gives me to fold the mirrors on the key,,, Last edited by BMW Steve; 07-12-2016 at 05:29 AM.. |

Some excellent updates. Liking how it's coming together and the quad looks spot on for sure.
How have you fitted 10.5j rears with et30 and no rubbing as I'm running 9.5j et30 and get a tiny amount on big dips...

I would say, its the tyre size. But not sure, when I purchased the wheels I was told by Mark at BM Autosport that I should run 235/35 & 255/30 due to the aggressive offset on the wheels, but decided on 245/35 & 265/30 and they went on with no issues, I am lowering the car at the weekend, only very slightly so lets see how that pan's out
