I just need some new plugs and then the valves cleaned and the car should be good to go. it has 33k miles on it now, and I got the service records from BMW and they show the HPFP was replaced at 22k miles, along with all 6 brand new injectors.. so I doubt my little problem could be an injector issue. Also I never really get on it at 2500-3000 rpm in 3rd anyway.. I usually go from like a 4k roll in 3rd if anything and it has no issue there.. I just don't like the fact that it does have the hesitation from 2500 even though I have to go against the way I normally drive to even notice it.

Regardless, I want the walnut blast and new plugs, so I'll post results after that is done

I know someone mentioned that it could be related to the throttle plates.. But alot of people said that a flash tune fixed the problem. I am just afraid to flash MHD or Cobb and regret it and wish i could go back to the DINAN. I want to replace plugs and get walnut blast regardless, so im going to start there. Ill keep you guys updated.
A friend of mine has tried GIAC Stage 2 and OFT Stage 2 tunes on his low-mileage 1M. Both had boost oscillation issues. The car now has an MHD tune from Wedge Performance and they've been mostly correctly. It's pretty hard to have an OFS tune perfect form perfectly...there are *a lot* of variables to consider.

I've been hearing so many good things about this MHD tune. I might have to ditch the DINAN for it. I am just apprehensive considering I don't have an aftermarket FMIC, I was going to wait for that before I decided to raise the boost any further.

Custom tuning isn't just about boost.
Even if your stock a custom tune is customised to your driving style and needs.

I have only been around n54s for two years but have never heard of anyone going back to dinan after trying Cobb or jb4.
