UPDATE:

My Akebobo's have arrived, so for AWBimmer (who has some on order) and anyone interested.

Delivered 13 days after buying on ebay from seller "TrueBlueParts" in the USA. As stated no additional charges for charges (duty or VAT), so total cost £43.46

Will update as to performance, when I get them fitted. Also trying to work out what to do with all the time I will no longer spend cleaning brake dust off my wheels.

Excellent work matey ! Mine is expected to arrive next week now. Trust me, I cannot wait to stop cleaning my wheels every two days or after every journey.

You fitting yourself? Did you get akebonos for front and rear then?

Yes fitting myself, only fitting fronts, had new pads in rear not long ago, but may well throw them away and fit Akebono if fronts live up to their reputation.

I also ordered these pads about a week ago so hopefully will get them soon. I've already received the Zimmermann front discs so cant wait to get them all fitted.

I'm in the market for new discs soon, any reason why you opted for Zimmerman discs?

Ever since the OP in this thread recommended them to me I thought I'll have to try those out one day:

I read up about them from the manufacturer’s website and then purchased them from a UK ebay seller for £145 delivered.

If you check here, it would appear they do not make them for 320D.
