Pre-order is in. Install for a skilled mechanic is 5ish hours, you think? Also does the kit come with new filters?

Definitely not going to take as long as the exhaust, our tubing redesign just pushed it back a couple weeks is all. I'll have a better idea of when these hit our door tomorrow afternoon.

The kit will include new filters.

5-6 hours for a skilled mechanic is accurate.

Inquiring minds want to know.
How does the flow match up to existing ones?

They certainly outflow the existing inlets. Exactly how much we don't know yet. I have a couple of testers who are going to do some flow testing for us, I"ll share the data once it becomes available.

Will your testers have dyno numbers?

What's smog? Smoked my other ganga? Seriously, I don't think the intake does anything for smog. That's the cat etc. It's clean air entering the engine with any intake or filter.

Haha...cali smog laws (visual and obd). Vrsf inlets will make my injen intake useless. So if i put an air filter, I will not pass visual.

Tiago are these going to be made from stainless steel or some other material? I think we saw a photo you took and posted on IG that showed these made of SS. Wasn't sure if that was a prototype or the final finish.

For hexons you want stock size.

That makes no sense. Visual? Under the hood? I understand visual emissions from the tailpipe. But an intake is just a filter with a pipe anyway. Has nothing to do with what comes our of a tailpipe.

Doesn't say a filter won't pass. Says you need one. http://m.smogtips.com/visual_inspection.cfm

yes sir. california smog laws do not make sense. if it's not oem and without a CARB number, it will not pass visual (under the hood or any part related to emissions; check engine lights, etc).

Just like the gun laws or the no lighting a fire on the beach because it creates pollution for houses within visual range I guess. So glad I don't live there. Back to installing my cat less downpipes, burning my garbafe, cleaning my AK47 and counting my money I saved from not paying state income tax. Think I'll blow off some baseball size fireworks to celebrate later.
