+1 This is where I would start with your car.
I have a friend who just purchased a similar car from a guy up in Chicago who had his car listed for months with very little interest. It was a great deal and car was in perfect shape. The seller was sure that he had no bites because the car was de-badged because nearly everyone that did express interest asked why the car didn't have the model on it. Car enthusiasts and people that frequent these forums don't seem to care, but the general public does seem to care. |

First of all, stay far away from KBB.... Go with NADA guide values.
Second, mileage is EVERYTHING when is comes to European resale. Bought my 2011 loaded 335i-X for $19,500 with 86K miles on it this year. Car is literally brand new. All service records, manuals, window sticker etc. (Was driven 80% highway) The same exact model with lets say 35,000 miles, would have been about $28,500.00 in the same condition. We are talking a $9000.00 increase in retail price, JUST because of 50K less miles..... |
