I could've sworn I saw an e90 in the lot without a sharkfin but maybe I was looking at an outgoing e46.

Shark Fin Soup
My dealer told me that they all (domestics) have 'em, phone or no phone, prep or satellite, etc. I like mine, though I don't know why.

Sorry SCA
Seems the only one that is currently out is the retrofit kit for cars with Business radio, But the USA has the professional radio standard. ill check the march system when it comes out to see if they have made the version for professional yet

I asked for a car without satellite prep, that would have been a long long wait and the dealer had no interest in ordering me one. Every car on his sheet had the 'shark fin' option. What if XM and Sirius go belly up, as they are destined to do if they maintain their current performance.

Hi,
In the UK Sharkfin is not standard. I have it on my car because I have Bluetooth and Sat Nav Pro.

I have a US spec, aka left-hand drive, 330i in the UK. It has the BMW Assist, Bluetooth, and SatNav. The shark fin (I prefer dorsal fin) is there. UK versions won't have the fin without the Bluetooth option. Retrofitting the Bluetooth here in the UK costs £575 or approximately $1000. There are two electronic modules that are involved within the car plus the aerial (fin). Don't know the cost of installation.
Satellite Radio is an extra that requires pre-preparation at the factory if you intend to add it later. It cost $75 on the US model. |

If you do not have a sharfin antenna, you can buy a pre-painted faux fin for your vehicle via this link ...
