My CA said it should be there by Thursday. He'll call me when he sees it.

Ugh, I'm still being told roughly 2 weeks from the 11th. I'm hoping that my CA is just being conservative, but I'm beginning to wonder if it has anything to do with installation of the aero kit or worse... repair of damage in transit.
Anyone have any insight into whether these are reasonable assumptions? I was told when we ordered the car (at the very end of May) that it was "Priority One", but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this timeline anymore. Just emailed my CA, hopefully he'll have some useful info as well. |

It's hard to say, my experience has been they do a pretty good job of managing expectations by being conservative. I got a similar response - telling me they're still waiting on cars from the end of June (VDC to my dealer is 12miles). After which he looked it up and found a dealer date of 7/16 but that it hadn't been released to Waggoners for the long 12 mile haul. Said if he gets it tomorrow afternoon it could be ready for Thursday if they get it PDI'd.

I spotted two Waggoners transport trailers parked by a Fast Food restaurant in Mojave this morning. I stopped and spoke with both drivers. They had left the Pt. Hueneme VDC and were driving to Las Vegas Dealerships.

Mines still not released to carrier yet. Going to Maui tomorrow so I now have to wait until next Wednesday.

I'll be going the other route, as this is going to be my wife's daily driver. Pretty much loaded except for active cruise and HD/Sat radio. So far the only thing I'm adding is the low-profile front-plate bracket (don't want holes in the front of the bumper). When the RFTs are ready to be replaced, I'll probably go non-RFT and upgrade the wheels. We'll see... |

This is awesome, I'm glad to see some of the Pri1 cars already finding their way home.
I'm getting one of the cars off this boat, but I don't have a VIN. It was a low priority car as it got offloaded from the boat, so I'm not sure how long it will take to get through the VPC. It's a dealer trade, so I'm not sure at what steps of the process they're allowed to intercept cars and/or when the priority changes. |

I got home from the Dealer today about an hour ago.
2008 328i Wagon Titanium Silver Black Leather Sport (Bridgestone RFT-yuck) Premium Cold CA Xenon Navi Step w/Paddles It was awesome driving the new M3 at the Komen Ultimate Drive, but for LA traffic, the step is easier to live with. Image to follow soon. |
