Just wait and trade in your 335i on the new 5-series which will have the TTV8.

It is game over, once people start tuning those.

They already have started, actually. Evotech in Germany has a test car running that has the twin turbo V8 (it's an X5). It seems they are already beyond the X5 M numbers concerning HP and torque.

I can't believe how long it is taking to get a single turbo kit for our cars (or even larger twins). I guess I come from a Japanese community where parts and kits were out the first year of a new car release. Not just 1 kit either, but about 5 to choose from with ample competition.

I don't know if the N54 is just slow to catch on, too expensive to R&D aftermarket, or what. If this was a Nissan we would have about 3 different new HPFP's to choose from, some larger twins and singles, and probably a couple of new intake manifolds by now.

Where is Stillen, Injen, HKS, Greddy, APS, Tanabe... lol

Expensive engine, high tech ECU, the reality of how many people would actually do an upgrade this extensive. Not hard to believe. You can't compare this car to JDM's where you can pick one of those up for 1/3 the price. Hell you can get a replacement 2JZ on ebay for $2k. What does $2k get you in a 335? A new fuel pump I suppose.

This. Plus the fact that there is no readily available DI solution to get more fuel into the engine, lots of leased cars that no one is going to mess with that much, included maintenance means most people will be bringing their cars in to the dealership semi-frequently and the fairly constant software revisions from the first few years of production all makes it kind of a PITA to produce a turbo kit.
