TBH methinks we need another squadron of F111s to bomb the b4stards over there - heroes welcome for a guy that killed 270 people - utter to55ers.

In my view its a shocking disgrace, and not done in my name thats for sure. I have friends who lived in Lockerbie at the time and whilst none of them where hurt the impact was devastaing.
As a +convicted+ murderer the +only+ way out for this guy should have been at appeal.

But they pretty much knew he was not guilty.
They weighed up the disgrace of letting him go on compassionate grounds vs worngly imprisoning him. The former won. |
